Santa Barbara Snow

After a 1:30 AM wake up call (i.e. thunder, lightning and hail) to fix the gutter, we woke to snow in our mountains. i know it's not much, but keep in mind this is the view from our beach.

and we managed to romp around under the sunny, blue skies after breakfast...

The Montecito Digs

Beth and Jon have rented this really nice house in Montecito for a month. The deck and yard are as beautiful as the house, and we like hangin' out there with 'em.

Our friend Beth did a local bike race which happens to be very close to our house. Here she is taking the inside from the yellow jersey.
I ask you, does this look like someone who just raced against elite riders for an hour? well she said it wasn't too hard.

As you can see Jon is thrilled with all the attention he gets from Sita and Porter, if ya can call that attention... i am not sure

out to sushi

mom and dad took me out to sushi, i sat still for about 5 minutes to eat some tofu and rice.
