summer's here

time to play in the yard and feed sophie some of here first solids...

stitches out and ready to play at daddy's mt. bike race. this was the first thing he saw as we entered the staging area - the bouncy house!

memorial weekend

max had a first that we would rather not repeat - his first trip to the ER. working with daddy in the garden, he fell and hit the shovel with his mouth... hence several hours later and much grief for all, he had 3 blue stitches in his lip. the dr. said he was very brave as he had the sheet placed over his face and his lip stitched through the little hole. i guess they do this so he doesn't see the tools... but we know he saw the scissors as he was describing the cuting to us that evening. uhg! it hurt all of us...
