Fisherman's Wharf

We took the bus to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square (the chocolate place as Max says).

The bus was a highlight for Max.

The Sea Lions - not too many, but still loud.

Tea Garden

The Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park was a lot of fun to explore.

We even had tea and cookies at the end. Max is not making the tea here, he is making coffee...

Muir Woods

Max loved climbing inside the tree trunks. It took us forever to get him out of this one.

Momma had to go carry him out of this one so others could have there turn.

Preschool rainy day activity: face-painting... a bit difficult for my kid to keep from smearing.

thanks so much to aunt kate and uncle john for the books and racecar sleeping bag. i love them, and mom loves the books that used to be hers as a kid... thebook pictured was not one of those, but still enjoyed by all:)

my first day of preschool

(a few weeks ago)

Sophia Grace was born Jan. 15th at 4:08 pm Weighing in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. she was a breeze to deliver compared to Big Max.
She is a sweetie - very mellow. Sleeps all day, up all night...

i really need a nap right now, but i thought i would post some pictures (while i look at them for the first time, too.) of our new "baby sister-brother" as max says.

we had a great time with the Malls - Mike, Robin, Courtney and Jake - who were in our area for a wedding weekend. we need to see you guys more!

Bryce and Max had fun digging and building and jumping in holes.

thanks to bryce's daddy for being such a good game-maker-upper.

Bryce's brother, baby Jay will soon be ready for hole-jumping and digging and building, too!

The surf was really good over the break and daddy got in some good waves.
