Duck Pool

I have been saying DUCK! a lot. mom and dad figure it's because i have been around the lake often lately and had some close encounters with the geese and ducks - all very exciting. but now they know i was really just telling the future. i was explaining to them that they would awake early this morning to the sounds of something crashing in the backyard and look out to see a half a dozen mallards in the pool. really. they seemed to be enjoying the water of our swimming pool. several flew off and a few minutes later several more arrived. a pair stayed through the photo session and didn't get scared off until dad realized they were leaving a mess of poops behind on his newly cleaned pool area. has anyone ever seen this before???

it was a beautiful day in bakersfield for cousin Karen's wedding.

i love the easter bunny. i followed him and tried to give him a hug and share my eggs with him. (never mind that my parents thought he was a weird looking bunny - he was super tall and skinny with skater shoes.)

Celebrate Earth Day!

For some reason I've been having a hard time uploading pictures, so we are just writing today. (even though we have some great pictures of me playing bocce ball last night) anywho, mom says The Shirt will be out of the dryer by the time i wake up from my nap, which will be just in time to get it warmed up for tonight's game. we're so excited for Scotty, and the whole team of course, for getting to the final game of the madness! i bet scotty is out of his head that they may be winning the championships tonight!! woohoo!!!

well, it should be fairly clean after a morning at the farmer's market and a little mall strolling. but it is definitely ready to cheer the BRUINS to victory tonight. if ya ask me what my shirt says, i will wave my arms and say UCLA, ucla, ucla. grandma and me:)

The Museum

Went to the museum today so mom could see the Renaissance exhibit - yipee! well i though it was cool to shout ba-ba-ba-ba-ba over and over and hear my echo. the guard didn't like it though and kept frowning at us. They don't let ya take pictures in that part of the museum, butwe could take pictures in the children's museum downstairs (and outside, of course). it was really cool, i got to run up and down this plank. at first i needed mom to hold my hand coming down, but in the end i was doing it on my own.

The plank went up to these colorful castle or cave things... fun fun!
